It was developed in response to widespread demand for a recognized standard against which to be certified and assessed.
ISO 45001:2018 is an internationally accepted specification that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing and operating an OHSAS. The specification was developed with the assistance of a number of international standards bodies and certification bodies.
